One of my favorite desserts I could find in LA is Thai layer cake (Khanom Chan) from Thai town.   It's this beautiful layer cake made out of rice flour, pandan extract, coconut milk traditionally, and some places add a pop of jasmine essence which I am a huge fan of.   I love the pillowy texture when you bite into it and the fragrance is just so refreshing and addicting.     If you haven't tried it, you have to go try it for yourself!

This soap was a challenge to make.   It took half an hour for each layer to set properly before I could pour the next layer, and it took me hours with 14 layers total.   I'm glad that I tested my patience as a soap maker to finish it.  If these run out, they might not be replenished anytime soon, so grab yours while they last :)
